Common Questions

Where do I park?

We have three parking lots to give you multiple ways to access the building.  One parking lot is off of South Walker Street and is north of our facility with entrances closest to our education spaces, children's and youth areas, and our Family Center.  Our second parking area runs adjacent to South Walker Street with entrances for our education spaces and the sanctuary.  This is also the best place to park if you need wheelchair or handicap access.  Our third parking area is off of Pecan Street, west of our sanctuary.  This parking lot gives you easy access to the sanctuary and church offices.  Feel free to park in the area that is most convenient for you.

What should I wear?

We are a "come as you are" church.  We believe God is much more concerned with our hearts than he is with our clothes.  On an average week, you will see every thing from shorts to suits.  No matter what you wear, we only ask that you please wear clothes!

How will I be treated?

Most simply stated, you will be treated like family.  Expect a lot of smiles and handshakes.  We want you to feel at home when you are with us.  We are happy to answer any question or escort you to any place you want to go.

What about my kids?

We offer nursery and children's life groups from infant to 5th grade.  As we place a high priority on the safety of our kids, all volunteers and staff have had background checks performed.  Mrs. Tricia and her team love to share the Word of God through songs, skits, play, teaching, and lots of other fun ways.  Children normally stay in our children's department through the end of the worship service.  On 5th Sundays, we have family worship and all of the kiddos join the adults in a special service.  For 6th-12th graders, they have Life Group at 9:30 am and worship with the adults.

What is worship like?

We have a blended worship style with the highest levels of musicianship.  Our worship would be considered contemporary, but we include traditional hymns on a regular basis.  Our praise band works tirelessly to honor and glorify God as they lead us in worshiping Him.

What is the preaching like?

The preaching is energetic, relevant, and straight from the Word of God with the appropriate level of humor and illustrations to help drive the points home.  We firmly believe that the Bible is sufficient for our understanding of God and walk with Him.  Therefore, our teaching seeks to apply biblical truths to modern lives.  We are focused on discipleship and it is not uncommon for young ministers that are being mentored to take the stage to preach.  Every one of their sermons is a blessing and it is a great joy to see them grow.
