Pastor Mark has been active in ministry since 1998, ordained both in the State of Texas and Mississippi. Having been a three time combat veteran in the United States Marine Corps and a former City Police Officer, Mark found himself struggling with PTSD which led to other forms of destructive addictions. Desperate, Mark turned to Jesus Christ and found freedom, redemption and purpose. Ministering as a Pastor, Chairman of a Missionary Sending Agency, and Church Health Coach, Mark has focused his ministry on recovery and freedom from addictions primarily through a ministry known as Refuge. Mark lives in Mesquite with his amazing wife Lori. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
